Fine Silver contains 99.9% pure silver, giving it a naturally bright white appearance that many jewellery makers love.
Unlike Sterling Silver, Fine Silver contains no added copper, making it an excellent choice for jewellery makers who appreciate its purity, beautiful colour and traditional silversmithing qualities.
Because Fine Silver is naturally softer than Sterling Silver and Argentium®, I handcraft my Fine Silver ear hooks using 1.0 mm wire. The extra thickness provides greater strength and durability while maintaining the beautiful look and feel of Fine Silver, creating ear hooks that are both comfortable to wear and practical for everyday jewellery.

Fine Silver has a beautiful bright white finish and is one of my favourite precious metals to work with.
Because it is naturally softer than Sterling Silver or Argentium®, I choose to make my Fine Silver ear hooks from 1.0 mm wire. This gives them the extra strength needed while still allowing you to enjoy the beauty and purity of Fine Silver.
Every metal has its own character, and part of my job as a maker is choosing the right wire for the right purpose. Sometimes a small change in wire thickness makes all the difference to how an ear hook feels, performs and lasts.
