Argentium® 940 has become one of my favourite precious metals to work with.

Containing 94% pure silver, it offers greater tarnish resistance than traditional Sterling Silver while maintaining a beautiful bright white finish.

Handcrafted with Care

Every headpin begins as genuine Australian Argentium® 940 silver wire.

Depending on the design, I carefully create a small silver ball before either leaving it beautifully rounded or gently flattening it to create a decorative paddle.

Each headpin is individually straightened, hand finished, polished and tumbled to create a beautiful bright finish while maintaining its strength.

Because every headpin is handcrafted, no two are ever completely identical. Those subtle variations are the hallmark of genuine craftsmanship and make every piece unique.

💛 Kali's Tip

Long headpins aren't just for making earrings and pendants.

One of my favourite ways to use them is to create elegant statement ear hooks. Simply add your favourite pearl, gemstone or decorative bead before gently shaping the remaining wire into a shepherd hook.

It's a simple technique that creates a unique artisan look while making the bead part of the ear hook itself.
